The role is focused specifically on Shopify app development with a strong Ruby on Rails backend expertise. You will work on implementing new functionality, improving existing features, and contributing to scalable Shopify-based solutions.

Requirements
Must Have
3–5+ years of commercial development experience
Strong experience with Shopify app development
Solid knowledge of Ruby on Rails
Experience with Node.js
Strong TypeScript skills
Experience integrating with Shopify APIs and ecosystem
Understanding of scalable backend development principles
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a distributed team
Nice to Have
Experience with Shopify Admin API / GraphQL
Experience building public or custom Shopify apps
Familiarity with Shopify app architecture and app deployment processes
Experience with performance optimization and third-party integrations
Responsibilities
Develop new functionality for existing Shopify applications
Design and implement backend features using Ruby on Rails
Work with Shopify APIs and integrations
Maintain and improve existing codebase
Collaborate with internal and client-side teams
