About GTO LAB
At GTO LAB, we build tools that help poker players understand and apply game theory optimal strategy. Our platform combines complex algorithms with an intuitive interface to make advanced poker concepts accessible.
We’re a focused engineering team shipping features on a daily basis. We move quickly, care deeply about product quality, and work closely together to build something we’re proud of.
We’re looking for a poker player who wants to transition into a professional role in tech. You’ll work closely with our senior QA and bring something no amount of QA experience can replace — a deep understanding of how poker players think, play, and use GTO tools.
If you know your way around a solver and want to turn that knowledge into a career, this role is for you.
Location:
Remote
Employment:
Full-time contractor
Working hours:
Flexible, remote-first — European time zone required
What You’ll Do
Working closely with our senior QA, you’ll help ensure that everything we ship makes sense for real poker players.
Your work will include:
Testing new features and improvements from a poker player’s perspective
Identifying bugs, edge cases, and usability issues before they reach users
Validating that drill logic, mistake detection, and solver integrations behave correctly
Writing clear bug reports and reporting issues in Jira
Preparing Jira tickets and writing requirements for new features
Following test plans and regression workflows guided by our senior QA
Giving product feedback based on your experience as a player
Because we ship daily, your input matters immediately.
What We’re Looking For
Must Have
Solid experience playing online poker
— you understand the game at a meaningful level
Hands-on experience using GTO solvers
(PioSolver, GTO Wizard, Simple Postflop, or similar)
Attention to detail and ability to spot when something doesn’t feel right
Clear written communication in English
Based in a European time zone
Nice to Have
Any experience in QA, software testing, or product feedback
Experience using issue tracking tools (Jira, Trello, etc.)
Familiarity with web applications
Experience working in a remote team or startup environment
Why Join Us
Turn your poker knowledge into a professional career in tech
Work on a product you already understand as a player
Learn QA from the ground up alongside an experienced senior QA
Small team — your feedback has direct impact on the product
Remote-first with flexible working hours
Great entry point into the tech industry
About the Team
We’re a small team that values clear communication, thoughtful engineering, and continuous improvement. Everyone contributes ideas and works closely together to build a product we’re proud of.
