FPGA Engineer
We’re looking for an FPGA Engineer to help our client (Miltech) to build state-of-the-art radio communication systems for UAVs. You’ll work alongside an exceptional team of engineers, developing innovative, high-performance solutions from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
RTL development using VHDL / Verilog
Integration with RF transceivers such as Analog Devices AD9371 / ADRV900x and high-speed ADC/DACs
Design and optimization of DSP blocks (filtering, synchronization, modulation/demodulation, protocol logic)
Work with high-speed interfaces (AXI, LVDS, JESD — where applicable)
Full FPGA development lifecycle:
System architecture and design
Simulation and verification
Timing analysis and closure
Hardware bring-up and board debugging
Resource and performance optimization
Close collaboration with RF, HW and embedded teams
Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience as an FPGA Engineer (or equivalent role).
Strong hands-on experience with SDR architectures
Deep understanding of I/Q signal chains, clocking, synchronization, RF impairments, and system constraints
Proven experience bringing up custom boards from first power-on to stable field operation
Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues.
Knowledge of electronics and ability to read circuit schematics.
English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
Nice to Have:
Experience with cryptography and cybersecurity concepts.
Knowledge of network communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, RTP).
Experience in defense or dual-use systems
Experience with field testing of RF communication systems
